Andrew Mild is a driven and passionate person who brings great energy to everything he does. His positive attitude and team-first mindset make him an awesome teammate — someone who lifts others up and makes the whole group better. Andrew’s passion, creativity, and reliability make him a huge asset to any team he’s part of.

I had the pleasure of hiring and overseeing Andrew's day-to-day and I can confirm that he excels in every situation that is given to him.

Andrew is a relented and hard-working broadcaster. He is beyond his years when he steps behind the mic. For BUTLER+ and The Big East Digital Network,

Andrew has called soccer, football, basketball and baseball. Baseball is his expertise and where he thrives most. Whether he does PxP, Analyst or Sideline Reporting, Andrew always does his research and comes prepared for a great call. He’s a true team player that isn’t afraid of putting in the work.

If you’re an employer reading this, stop now and hire Andrew. You will not regret it. -Nick White Butler University Professor, Emmy Winner

As Minority Owner of the Lake County Corn Dogs baseball franchise, I had the pleasure of working with Andrew throughout the 2022 season.

As I am also a media professional, I took a strong interest in the media activities of the Lake County Corn Dogs. Much of my work entailed updating the team's website after games and writing some content, which would have been nowhere near as robust without Andrew's contributions.

Andrew was religious about writing a story after each ball game, and to my amazement, that included road games. It was my responsibility to copyedit and prepare Andrew's articles for publication, and in my professional opinion, they were well done.

As the season went on, I saw Andrew progress as a writer and improve his prose. I tried to encourage him along the way, and I think that paid dividends -- for the benefit of our website readership (social media too) as well as for his development as a writer.

As a budding sports media professional, I see Andrew as a triple threat --- as a broadcaster, pre- and post-game interviewer, and as a sportswriter. I think that's a rare combination, but Andrew possesses all those talent traits.

He's also just a fine young man. I believe Andrew has a very bright and prosperous career ahead of him. He helped put the Corn Dogs on the map, and he will be missed next season. I hope I can work with Andrew again some day.

Andrew is one of the hardest working broadcasters I've ever been around. I brought him aboard as an intern for the 2021 baseball season, during which time he improved his craft tremendously. That was largely the result of his own desire to get better, his willingness to accept and give critique, his extensive research and tireless spirit. Andrew was always extremely well-prepared. After entering the summer with no prior knowledge of the league, he left as an expert. He kept an upbeat attitude all through the summer and was a joy to be around. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any future opportunities.

Hi Andrew,

We wanted to thank you for the incredible job you do behind the mic. Your announcing, color commentary, support of Nick and all the players, and your funny little anecdotes that make us feel like we're right there at the Steel Yard! Even from California.

You have a special way of connecting to the fans and listening to you has become just as much a highlight as watching Nick play.

Here's a small token of apprecitaion, some of our California favorites. Let us know how our hot sauce stakes up against the legendary "Mild Sauce!"

Thank you for making the miles disappear and for the family-like warmth you bring to every game!

Andrew,

I watched all three Southern Maryland vs Gastonia games this week. I am a Honey Hunters fan, but watched the Home feed as the audio quality was much better. I just wanted to let you know that I very much enjoyed your calls in all three games. You were easy and fun to listen to, and filled the time with very interesting facts about both teams and the players. I look forward to the Honey Hunters playing in Waldorf again soon! Well, not until late July, but I'm looking forward to it.

Miss you homie. You always did a great job around here. Not the same. You truly made players feel like they were the best!

Andrew, Love your passion for what you do, well done brother! You and Graham do nice job together..I was flying back from Cleveland last night to our home in Texas and heard your comments on the broadcast of the Railcats vs. Explorers. I was laughing, fun stuff…

Answer to your question…Defensive Back @ UNC, and Zac is faster…LOL

And I don’t think Graham wants to play Shannon, she was Big 10 Champion and played professionally…LOL

Fun stuff, thanks for your kind mention of Zac during yesterday’s game! Have a great summer and good rest of your season!

Best,

Dan Vooletich, Dad of opposing team's player, Zac Vooletich

Andrew is one of those people you are always glad to have on a broadcast. He is reliable, well-prepared, and brings energy to every game. Even when circumstances get tight, he always finds a way to put together a solid, entertaining broadcast. He’s fun to work with, easy to communicate with, and makes calling games an enjoyable experience from start to finish.

One of the best in the game — always brings energy, insight, and professionalism. A true baseball guy who makes every broadcast feel special. ‘Let’s go on a cowhide joyride’ says it all — great voice, great presence, even better person.
