Andrew Mild is a 27-year-old broadcaster from Crown Point, Indiana. He began broadcasting at age 16, starting with a $50 camera and a $50 microphone, calling games for his local Babe Ruth League.

Andrew got his first taste of professional baseball in 2021 when he joined the Windy City ThunderBolts, based out of Chicago, as an intern. He applied what he learned from that experience to become the inaugural voice of the Lake County Corn Dogs, a Summer Collegiate team, in 2022.

After the Corn Dogs season, Andrew graduated with honors from Butler University with a degree in Sports Media. Upon graduation, he moved to Waldorf, Maryland, where he broadcast 126 solo games for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League.

In 2024, his hometown team—the Gary SouthShore RailCats—had a job opening and brought Andrew back to Northwest Indiana, giving him the opportunity to give back to his community. He is now entering his third year with the organization.

During the RailCats' offseason, Andrew continues to hone his craft by broadcasting football, basketball, and soccer for Butler Sports Live and the Region Sports Network, a local high school station.

Although Andrew hails from the Hoosier State, he is an avid Chicago sports fan, cheering for the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks.
